its really hot.

Do you choose what excites you, compels you, bothers you. It doesn’t feel like it to me.

I haven’t always been a Zero Waste ambassador - before I knew anything about the environmental issues we face I was creating most of my art out of plants or material I could find because that’s all I could access as a child.

I’m one of those people who loves going into the refrigerator and pantry a day before I absolutely HAVE to go grocery shopping and creating some kind of epic meal out of weird, left over ingredients.

I find a natural aversion to buying new things when there is still food in the fridge, when there are invasive species in my yard or things that can be recycled all around me.

I guess you could say it excites me.

And when humanity became aware of a possible environmental emergency I saw how my natural inclination was a cosmic gift - aligned with the times.

For me, its hot, it’s like really hot to make art this way. This is the rising temperature we want - our own hotness exuding through radical practicality.

It’s practical to use the insane amounts of things we already have made. And it’s hot.

I think humans can be a bit competitive and power driven - I dare you to create the most epic and grounded solutions for this collective environmental experience.

If your business continues to focus purely on profit and power then we don’t want it!

You’re only creating excess heat, you yourself, are not hot.

I know, I know, many of us are just trying to survive and can’t shift our jobs to fit this new world…maybe I’m speaking to higher up.

If you’re an individual, you can find ways to align in smaller moments of life. It can feel like the large power sources are sucking us dry - that we’re not really to blame. There’s some truth in that. But I always come back to, as above, so below.

If you feel below, just remember you influence above with that cute butterfly effect. AND you’re just going to feel better the more you live in alignment with the Earth. Give it a go.

Also,

We’re soooo good when we do it together.

Like all the transformers creating a larger entity. That’s us!

I’m here to encourage that in myself, encourage you and be encouraged by you.

Seriously, I need your encouragement.

I too get to a point of exhaustion about it.
