REFLECTIONS

“When it comes to the artistry that Bailey produces, words scratch just the surface… as the depth & dimensions beyond what simply meets the eyes is indescribable. A unique frequency. Rich, multifaceted, feeling- evoking emotion, provoking meaningful thought & inspiring the soul of whoever gets to experience.

I have seen Bailey create massive community impact via visually stunning & expansive installs at huge area attractions for the thousands like our ever growing Portland Night Market…

As well as share her genius, wide range skill set with small intimate groups of humans offering & guiding various beautiful ways to make art from what she sees already as art- nature.

From functional & practical… to the notion of simply “for the sake of ART” and everything/anything in the in between.

Most notably as far as my most recent direct collaboration with Bailey, was when I hired her to bring to life a specific vision for a unique Masquerade Ball in the heart of Portland, Oregon this past fall. The theme was more of a futuristic, abstract concept & the goal was to curate an environment authentically representative of such as if it were already a reality. Anchoring the vibrational frequency to facilitate an ushering of “future” quantum potentialities into the present.

I knew if anyone could help me visually create an essence throughout & within the space that would be able to connect the energetic dissonance of high frequency LUXURY to the abundance & essential vibrations only offered by nature- it was Bailey. She was a gem to work with & became a seamlessly integrated, profoundly important asset to the event as I was able to fully release her portion of the project in full trust, even with shifts in budget etc…

The end result of the gilded natural tapestries Bailey was able to procure from what started as elements within my whimsical minds eye- was one of the top musings of the evening. Witnessing peoples whole auric field light up when they learned they got to take a piece of the art with them- priceless in itself.

I recommend Bailey with the highest of regard for anything she chooses to put her energy towards, knowing first hand that through her passions, visions & creativity- provide harmony within the planet, all of us on it (& beyond) benefiting to all, in the most subtle to profound ways of which are certainly needed & of the rarest to come by.

Bailey is a 1 in infinity.

From beginning to completion of the projects we’ve worked together on, she simultaneously exudes impressive top tier professionalism, planning & actualization… with high caliber consciousness, inclusiveness & openness.

This rare ability she has honed, of being able to balance, shift & flow between left & right brain strengths provides an asset of wholeness from a primary source that is- unicorn status. Making Bailey not only a master of her crafts as a solo artist, but also a first person MVP pick for any “team,” she’s considering.

Additionally…her grounded, genuine, encouraging, humble nature + her refined wisdom, gentle honesty, all-in engagement & playful spirit (with a hint of adventure) makes her a natural leader. The kind nominated by peers & mentors alike.

Bailey has a refined “midas touch” effect on everything she’s involved in.

She is salt of the earth meets cosmic & ethereal stardust- bravely embodying her magic in ways that remind everyone around her that they are magic too. Inspiring beyond the obviousness of any set objectives bringing them together, activating an innate remembrance of the pure artistry we as humans are, by nature. Thus effectively paving a path of safety for collective releasing of generational, societal & self imposed conditioning leading to the gift of expression that both reflect & honor one’s truths. Something many of the famous artists in history seemed to affect in humanity AFTER their journey earthside completed.”

Bailey River is a playful, multi-dimensional artist and wild forager with over 14 years of experience in the floral industry, cultivating experiential wonderment through environment design.

She was one of the first floral designers to integrate wild foraged elements in the event and wedding industry.

Wandering out into the wild to gather materials is an integral part of her process.

She is currently creating botanical art by harvesting overgrown ivy in the forests surrounding her home - making space for Pacific Northwest Natives to take root.

Beyond botanical, she channels sound and movement through her musical ego - SONNEN - and pole dancing.
